Recently reinstalled Texmod on my computer and I already knew this would happen. McAfee detected TexMod as a Trojan, and technically it is. Simple resolution, just disable McAfee temporarily. Well gee it seemed simple enough, however, with the piece of crap McAfee is...I can't exit it, so my choices are either find a way to temporarily disable Trojan removal, uninstall McAfee completely, or just don't use TexMod. I appreciate any input and if uninstalling it is the only choice, give it to me straight, I'm willing to take the extra time to uninstall and reinstall it. Thank you.
I'll aslo be on GW for a while tonight so PM my IGN to the left if you prefer that.
Trouble with McAfee + Texmod

Just disable it while you play GW. What's wrong with that. Turning off the virus scanner is done thru Computer & File Configuration, if I remember right on McAfee.

McAfee is a program that cannot be disabled or exited, I actually figured it out but I had to do quite a few thingsi n the Advanced Controls section to get it working properly. Mods please close this thread.

I used to have this problem...it can be disabled by just going into configure and turning off virus scanner which conflicts with texmod.
But since you figured it out oh well.

Yeah that's one way to do it, I just found a way to deal with certain types of programs so I wouldn't have to deal with this all the time, thanks for the help.
