Not horrible AT times

Problem:As it currently stands, the Daily AT times for GvG are absolutely terrible. I'm assuming HB ones are as well, but I don't even look at those, so I cannot comment on them. As a result, many of the ATs are mostly empty with only three or four guilds actually playing with the rest of them being guilds thrown in by members of the competing guilds in order for the system to allow the tournament to start. Today, Daily B starts at 4AM for East Coast Americans, 1 AM for Pacific, and 9-11 AM for most of Europe. There are maybe three Asian guilds left in the game, so they are pretty irrelevent in deciding AT times.
Solution: Change AT times so that they will take place during "prime time" in their respective time zones, and add more ATs. If ATs start at 6 PM and 10 PM in both Central Europe and Central US/Canada, then there should be an increase in guilds and competition in all ATs.
Please don't respond if you do not AT, thank you.

Just because there are "like 3 asaian guilds" doesn't mean there aren't Asian players who play in "Amercian" guilds. The simple fact is, it's on a rotation to be fair for everybody. Your suggestion is to screw everybody over who doesn't live in your timezone. It's not like you "have to" play in every AT. You can still GvG using the normal system and there are still enough ATs during your peak time to get enough QPs for the monthly. Just because some of those times are "a joke" doesn't change the fact that several guilds ARE THERE and deserve a chance to play in ATs just like everybody else.

I live in the EST of the USA, but I have been in guilds with members from Australia, Singapore, England, Germany, and what you suggest is a bad idea. The thing is, people play this game from all over the world. Having ATs at times that EVERYONE can reach is important. You don't have to be in ALL of them, but ALL players must be able to play in SOME of them.

The problem with "all inclusive" AT times is that they rotate off by one our each day. So basically, your guild already has a good playtime they like. So they have to find the AT for that week that's at the nice playtime for everyone, but it's not always on a good day, and there's probably only like ONE timeslot that's good for you per week. And having 8 people schedule around that timeslot sucks.
Having prime-time ATs and well as MORE rotating ATs would be great.
Also, some of you are not paying attention to this:

Irish's suggestion offers the best possible times to the timezones that actually play GW: Europe and America.
The current system has terrible times, such as 1 AM PST; who the hell is going to play in that?? The current system just screws everyone in an attempt to make it fair for everyone.
One set time should be used that allows easy scheduling as well as good times for each timezone; two tournaments per timezone's "primetime" works perfectly, as it allows for a choice of 2 good times for a guild to schedule, or even play in both. Ladder play is too full of heroway and bspam shitters to care about.

Still Number One
The only AT that ever sees play is Tournament A. Partly because it is the Euro tourney, and partly because it is the only one that fits into time periods where people can play. It is either in a good Euro time, or an early american time. Either way, it sees activity.
Tournament B is either in a good American time, or in a no play zone. There is no one who plays this game after Americans go to bed. It is too early for the European players to be playing, and too late for the Americans. It would be fine for Australians and Asians, but they really don't exist anymore. There are probably 3 or 4 guilds who play. You shouldn't make a tournament revolving around 3 or 4 guilds.
Which brings me to Tournament C which is the tournament in the Asian Playtimes. It is too late for Americans and Too early for Europeans, and only ever sees play if it happens to be around 8 am EST. This one really just needs to be reworked completely because I don't think it has been a competitive playtime for at least a year.
So yea, the tournaments really need a drastic overhaul on the playtimes. It has already been hammered down Izzy's throat on his private forums to do this, but apparently he just doesn't have the time to get it approved or something.

Just make more ATs, since changing the entire system takes time that the live team doesn't have (supposedly). Honestly though, I don't see why they dont double the amount of ATs. More playing = more fun.

The 1PM PST AT is prime time for the Pacific Ocean.
Yes, AT times really need to be looked at.

Obviously something needs to be done, such as Irish's suggestion

Izzy is well aware of this issue.

It's not that bad imo. It shifts 1 hour each day which makes it viable for most days. Also, the American 'prime time' is hardly played by anyone to begin with, just because there aren't that many American guilds playing the ATs.
Also, if it were to be on fixed times. 10PM for Euros isn't always a good time, especially if it's not in the weekends with 5 round ATs.
In other words, it's fine the way it is.

Hello, I've tried to play AT's with my guild. We don't have enough on to ever make a B tournament. We only have enough on to make a C tournament if half of us don't get sleep.
If the B and C tourneys saw a lot of activity it would be silly for me to ask for them to reschedule those just for us. But when those tourneys end up one real guild and just enough forfeiting smurfs to get QP's, I certainly don't feel it a selfish request.

Some of the AT times are honestly stupid. I never cease to be amazed by the inopportune timing of some.
