I usually see Something by the week of an event. Is Anet too tied up with XTH to realize it is festival time?

I hope they put some kind of an announcement out today.

Let me know if I have missed something somewhere, but I have looked in all the normal places.

Announcements usually come midday on Tuesdays. Still several hours before I expect to see anything. Plus, it happens every year, I'm sure all they have to do is flip a switch and it rolls out, same program as before, etc.

I believe the dragon festival is the only festival that has a HAT collector for a week after the weekend. So get a friend to gather 250 tokens for you, and you're set.

Anet has become very slacky so far this year in regards to event announcements.
What i used to like ( used to being key words ) about gw was the way they told in advance of events - this got ppl excited and sometimes doing missions etc to get to those places.Now its crossed fingers and hope the events soon and be rdy for the lag of ppl joining - like last time they never announced the drop event at easter.
Surly they have 1 staff member who can copy previous event announcments ( on website ) and by simple edit get it up so we can all be happy and know when things are on.

- Banished dream rider
- Chaos Wurm.
- Grasp of Insanity
- Scythe of Chaos
- Torment Claw

We already had the Grasp and the Scythe...

Not at all true. They did the EXACT same thing last year. There was even a thread like this panicing about "I heard rumors its not happening this year ZOMG."
And you actually post this AFTER someone already posted a quote were Regina says they are about to update the website.

Same here. Although on some events like the birthday celebration, they wait until like Thursday to announce it.

Last beta, I played for about an hour and a half over the span of the entire weekend and went "meh. Screw this".

My comrades and I are in the Aion beta this week as well. This is easily solved. Play Aion and every couple hours hop on Guild Wars when the Emperor visits/call to arms!

If the other team was terrible enough you probably could....

Anyways hopefully the phone company don't mess about with my line again (like last time >.>), i plan on getting a 6man sync, getting the other 5 to leave at the beginning of the match and then winning. My Epeen would become infinatley long for that imo.
