question about account name on guru?

just out of curiosity is it possible to change your account name say if you asked/emailed a moderator? or is it perminantly set? just wondering guys thanks for any replies

Do you mean changing 'abaddons hero' to something else? Yes, you can do that. Admins can change it, I think supermods can too. Afaik normal mods can't (I've never found a way to do it), but smods get this cool panel of stuff to play with that normal mods can't so it's probably there (i.e, PM a supermod).

oh wow i didnt think you could do that i mean i know its probably not a decent enough reason too and i know Inde has more important things to do on guru than go around changing names but i'll pm her and see if she might be able to work it into her schedule for me and one last question. this one particularly goes out to you marty since you'd know more about it i think but what does a regular member have to do to even get mod privledge's??
