My first was a W/R on Prophecies, can't remember the build but there was a pet for sure.
Next day I made a R/E, and with her I finished Prophecies carrying Flare :P

I thought I was awesome. You are kick-ass, let no one tell you otherwise!
I started Prophecies as a Warrior/Necromancer as well. Before I bought the game, one of my friends who played GW let me borrow his Prima Game Guide so that I could look at skills and see what I would eventually like to do. I came up with this build before purchasing the game, and it carried me through Prophecies (with slight variations until I was able to cap my Elite in THK, that is
). He also set me up with some gear, here's the breakdown. No shit, I was a badass (and even though I know better now, I still run a variant of this build for nostalgia's sake every once in a while). Nihilist Tiger (my Warrior) is still my main, always will be.
W/N: "Eat Babies!"
10+1+3 Swordsmanship
8+1 Strength
12 Blood Magic
Distracting Blow
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Life Siphon
Life Transfer
Plague Touch
Resurrection Signet
No IAS or IMS/cancel stance, way too much investment in Blood Magic, energy management was... a bit fail. At least I had Plague Touch, right (that skill still kicks ass for a W/N)?
HP: 506 (515 if I had been able to afford a Sup Vigor, and Runes of Vitae didn't exist)
Energy: 39 (I used an offhand instead of a Shield, sue me)
Duelist's Helm (+1 Swordsmanship, stacking, +1e) Superior Swordsmanship Rune
Gladiator's Hauberk (+3e) Major Absorption Rune
Gladiator's Gloves (+1e) Minor Strength Rune
Gladiator's Leggings (+2e) Major Vigor Rune
Knight's Boots (reduces damage taken by 3 - back when this was GLOBAL, one piece worked to reduce all damage, and it wasn't limited to Physical damage only)
Victo's Blade - req9 15-22 damage, 15^50, +3/-1 Vampiric, +30hp
The Shadestone - req9 +12e, HCT all spells 10%, +30hp

First profession was Necro.
Can't really remember early builds, I think I was mainly playing curses back then. And sometimes I was raising minions but I didn't really like it.
But it was fun to make comments how lonely I felt without them and how sad I was when they died. Always good for a few laughs in the team.
I know I played 55/180 HP Orders a lot in ToPK, but that was a couple of months after I started playing.

Touch Ranger baby!
(bring on the hate!)
Dude, it took me like MONTHS to get through the Ring of Fire missions. I used to raptor farm with her too (in NM no less). I think she even had a 0-spec'd pet running around with her half the time (Melandru Stalker probably). That poor girl is sitting in cold storage with her radiant insignias and chaos gloves. Not sure if I'll ever see her again.

R/Me, Factions campaign. Only reached level 14, didn't understand the importance of doing anything other than soloing. Build was... odd
[Charm Animal][Hunter's Shot][Pin Down][Throw Dirt][Energy Tap][Ether Feast][Troll Unguent]
No [Comfort Animal]. That might explain why I gave up on the game for a long time.

Mo/Me running a smite/heal mix up to the Jungle. Switched to mostly heal with 1 or 2 protections. She worked through the "monk strike" in THK. She could do that mission in her sleep. Retired shortly after Factions was released, she became obsolete, I could not afford the game at the time. About 9 months ago, she teamed up with Ogden, now 600/smiting Nebo Terrace and North Kryta Province.
