The best masks are the ones that would look fine or great as real headgear with max armor and upgrade slots, like the Tengu Mask, Demon Mask, Scarecrow Mask, Mummy Mask, Wreath Crown, Ice Crown, Grasping Mask, Zombie Face Paint, Lupine Mask or Grentch Cap.
But things like the lion mask, dragon mask, rudi mask... meh... to try once and then leave in the hat maker.
In this case, it is too big, colorful and toony.
I'd rather have something more serious and sharp, like the shoulderpads in the Warrior Elite Canthan armor, and smaller and more proportional to the body like the scarecrow or mummy masks.
Something that would make the character look like a draconic creature.
But things like the lion mask, dragon mask, rudi mask... meh... to try once and then leave in the hat maker.

hehe Yeah I get all the hats I can and then put them in the festival hat maker. Then if I want them I can get them back for only 10g.

I miss the days where the contents of an event would be a surprise, the dates it started/ended would be a surprise, and the finale/hat would be a surprise. Halloween and Wintersday 2005, those were the days...

It isn't amazing but it is way better than the last two. Hopefully this is a pattern and the Halloween and Wintersday Masks will improve from the last couple of years. They really have been terrible.

I was waiting until now that we've got it to klay an opinion, because IMHO pictures don't exactly show you what it looks like. I quite like this one, it's rich with colors and it has a very different feel from the other Dragon masks. It seems that (like the crown hat) there are more details. And it fits quite well with the Canthan decoration .

I got my mask, put it quickly in the xunlai box next to all other ugly masks.
Now give us some new armors, weapons and explorables perhaps?
At least they have more functionality than masks without runes...

It looks like an actual imperial dragon instead of a westernized version and looks incredible in black - plus it can take insignias.
Now I just have to figure a build, besides 600 or perma, which can use 0 armor.

I really like the detail of this mask. I've looked at it on my Elementalist, Ranger, Assassin and Warrior and it looks fine. My Necromancer did not fare so well. The high collars on his elite Luxon and Kurzick armors cut right through it. Black dye might hide the clipping.
Perhaps future masks could be previewed by designers on at least one set of armor that has a high collar. I'd recommend male Necromancer armor for the test.

We already have a Dragon Mask, and now an Imperial Dragon Mask as well as a Lion Mask which just looks like a dragon. Feels too played. I don't like it.
