I'm asking this because I'm actually having a hard time choosing an elite armor in Prophecies for my Warrior. I know it's an opinion thing, but I'd like some feedback from people who actually owns the armor. So what do you guys think?
I also own Eotn, and I know there's expensive armor close to the price range of Elite Armor too... There's the option of skipping Elite and going for Eotn's armor.
What do you think is the "coolest" looking Elite armor?

I'm having the same problem you are. Back when I first started playing, I decided on the Kurzic non-elite armor as being the coolest. I like my warriors to look like powerful knights, but without all the pointy stuff sticking out all over (what makes clumsy and overstated cool?).
Now that I've come back to the game, I'm disappointed to learn that the EotN monument only cares about elite armor when it comes to displaying your armor. So I go search the elites for a good armor, and they're all pretty bad. I had decided on the elite Kurzic since it's close to the non-elite, but just last night I saw someone with it in person, and side by side, the non-elite is much cooler looking.
I realize it's a matter of opinion, but to the OP, I feel your pain. I've thought of getting any elite armor for the monument, but I don't want people in the future (GW2) looking at my monument and saying "He wore THAT?".

Not impossible to get and have more detail and shine then the typical white asuran armor -_-

Anyways, the trick to choosing out the elite armor set depends on the weapons you use.
I use many black and red weapons so I made a black dyed elite canthan armor set. And it looks baddass along with my many weapons.

Oh boy, another can't decide/give me your advice threads. In all honesty it's all about preference. Don't let others influence that. But while we're at it, my warrior has elite gladiator armor. It's my fave but I'm also fond of Silver Eagle.

I've had the elite Kurzick set several times in the past (due to a bad rerolling habit), but on my current warrior I decided to go a different route. He's wearing elite Templar now, and I think it looks a little better.

I'd have to go with Elite Dragon, Elite Platemail, Elite Luxon, Asuran, and Vabbian for dudes. If you're a lassie, go with all of the above and add Monument and Silver Eagle to the mix.

Not sure what campaigns you have (you mentioned Proph and EoTN), I have a few sets of elite for my male war (filled HoM) but by far my favs are Elite Kurz (Factions though) and Elite Platemail, it's from Proph and was my 1st elite set and still my fav, to me it is one of the only armors that actually look like an old set of armor. I actually detest male obby armor, makes you look like a bumpy bloated sack of....

Overall I'd pick primeval from nightfall but if I only had prophecies and eotn to choose from I'd pick chainmail elite or dragon

I got a few sets on my main (male war originally proph). My first set of elite dragon then wanted one from every campaign so got Primeval (NF), Silver Eagle (EoTN) and working on factions.

For warrior, I only like armors that can be dyed so they look as much Black and Gold as possible.

Deldriomor Armor dyed red+orange+yellow is good. Heagear is your choice, Mounment would be good.

i made my decision since i have eotn, im just holding off and getting the armors there once im rank 5 instead. its cheaper than elite prophecy armor and imo looks better Then sometime i'll buy factions and pick up some kurzick armor cuz that looks cool too :P

I suggest 15K Sunspear or 15K Kurzick for male Warriors. If I display a helmet at all, I prefer the Sunspear 15K helmet (horns). The Kurzick Helmet looks odd from the rear and sides.
Tyrian Chainmail would of course make you stand out, give your warrior a name similar to "Stefan". :>

Imo, save up and get FoW (it doesnt take that long) but dont get the helm. because if you do, you look like a nob. so get another helm with it.
