Ok, its 1 hour and 34 minutes and the Dragon Festival has not gone live yet. No news from ANET Reps as of yet.
Dear ANET, please post any information here. I took off work 2 hrs early to make sure I made it home in time and now I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs. Please give or dash our hopes with some kind of response.

Regina was in SJM ID1 about an hour ago saying that the festival doesn't start until after the live builld, which is exactly what the website says:
"The 2009 Dragon Festival begins after the live build on Thursday, July 2, 2009."
So, uh.
In before someone demanding it go an extra day because it didn't start on time /o\

There has never ever been an event that had anything special right when it came out. It's always the last day of the event.
Next time, stay at work. You have a few days to do all the quests and AFK.

I have to say in ANET's defense, typically the boardwalk is on time or early. Also I am maxing Luck title this weekend so every second counts for me as I am sure it does for many others.

Am i the only one who seems to notice that anets got bad with times in the last year.
They used to be so sharp with times you could set a clock by them - if they said an event started at 12 noon it started then .Live updates used to be around 12 noon as well - and you knew that 12:05 the updates been , now it seems to be within 5 hrs if lucky.
Maybe anet moved the time telling staff who were organised to gw2 and we got left with the bad ones.Also 12 noon pst is not -7 gmt but -8gmt - something anyone from uk will tell you - again anets time skills are sadly letting them down.
Regina ( if you read this ) - find out from gaile how she got the departments communicating as things were fine back then and thru no fault of yours it seems that ability has been lost - remind them what team work and communication is.

Nice the have given us the update, but now I get this nice error when guildwars tries to download the update, because of that update and cant start guildwars. More people who get it>?

Here's a question - the grasps we have to kill are still people in masks. I get why, but why not make them actual grasps? It looks silly beating up people in masks. lol
