I started playing GW after EotN, so I have seen only EotN menu.
But I saw some older character screenshots with Nightfall menu background, and i liked it.
And I heared great menu music of every campaign while I was checking GW store.
So, why doesn't ANet give us option to set up main menu background and music to any campaign, because I find EotN one little boring right now.
And we would have more screenshot (character show) options (and it looks strange to see my cute half-naked ele on snow).

This has been mentioned before. The main reason is, there are certain technical reasons that prevent them from going back to how they were before.
For example, the Prophecies character screen could only show 4 characters (since that was the most anybody could have).
Factions could only show 4-6 characters.
NF could show and unlimited number of character (due to the addition of purchasable character slots).
EoTN has in game store links.
There are lots of technical reasons for why they couldn't go back. They COULD add the option, but it would require a complete reworking of the coding of the old login screens.

Haha same here, went and got the Soundtrack for Factions after I realized how much I missed the old login screen + sound when NF came out ;p
It would be something I would pay for, not more than 5 or maybe 10 dollars, but it would be cool 8)

@Op Its been asked for many time. Anet's current stand on the issue is that it ain't gonna happen and there are valid reasons behind that. They already got rid of the big EoTN logo, if it matters.
