How Much Would U Pay for...

Changing guild name or guild tag...

I dont know if this is feasible but if you could how much would you pay for it in a micro transaction.

Personally.. Nothing, as I like our guild's name and we never had need for it.

But for the sake of your question.. I think a fair price would be same as renaming a character.

My join date isn't something I care about anymore, so this feature wouldn't be very useful to me. However, I do know people that care about that sort of thing, so it may be useful to them.

IMO, there should be NPCs that offer services for large sums of gold or special tokens that you play the game to earn. Maybe a quest chain for each different service or something like that... but anyway, the community has spoken and said that they are willing to pay X amount of cash for Y service before, so this snowball is already rolling down the hill and will likely get bigger.

I didn't mean to go OT, just wanted to point out that there are other options and paying cash shouldn't be the first that comes to mind for things that could be implimented in game for game money.

I would pay absolutely no money because I have no guild. Even if I was in a guild, I wouldn't change the name.

ANet will see this and add it in four years later. Then you'll be saying you never wanted to pay for it or that the price is too high.

Its best to keep thoughts about micro-transactions to yourself.

Guilds are broken and remade pretty quickly, most guilds (Pvp) don't have more than 15-16 people so it's quite easy to get back all the members.

I might pay for it if I ever got a trim though lol...

I would be willing to £1.00 for 2 tag changes; and £2.00 for 2 name changes.

Nothing, as I could abuse the report system and get a free name change.
Anyways, its not that hard to reform a guild, and why not come up with a decent name in the first place?

Why would you even care about changing your guild's name. Horrible suggestion - because nobody cares.

A-Net does NOT do Micro transactions. Look up in any dictionary the meaning of the word "Micro". $10 is not a Micro sized payment.

I wouldn't pay for a guild name change since you can always grind more gold and make another one. If you're the type of person that doesn't care about entry date, well do what I just said. If you do care, well it's bad luck for you buddy. You don't get a prize for 4 year old guilds anyways.

I'd rather ANet make it easier for PvPers to MAKE guilds, instead of worrying about renaming them.

Anyway as to why not just reform. Maybe some people already decked out their hall with those costly NPCs. Or better yet, you can just buy a fully decked guild from someone else for a fraction of the price, and then buy a name change. In which case, you are basically buying gold - fairly consistent with other "services" like the unlock packs...
