After you reach Kaineng City (one of the main cities in Factions) you can go to Prophecies storyline.
or, if you mean, can you start sin/necro in Prop, the answer is no.

you can only start an assasin in factions, but you can do a quest to travel to prophesies, and u can backtrack to the first mission in prophesies.

1. When you get to Kaineng Center (the most north-western town in Factions), you can go to the Kaineng Docks through a portal. Speak to Mhenlo to get the quest there.
2. I don't think there is any level requirement, but you should get a message when you go to Kaineng Center the first time saying to go to the Docks to unlock travel to Tyria.
3. Yes. The world contains one Tyria, and you will be there along with others.

And EotN is the only campaign travel quest with a level requirement. n__n

Sorry to hijack - but if I go to Tyria, can I go all the way back to Ascalon and start off with the first mission? Err, well, does the quest take you back to ascalon, or does it start you off in the middle (I only ask because you get dropped off in LA, not Ascalon), so would I have to walk all the way back to Ascalon to start from mission one?
Slasher of Darkness
You get dropped to LA, and there's where the story starts for foreign characters, you gotta walk back to ascalon to start from mission one.
EDGEY
I miss Ascalon - so it might be fun to go back.

Yes. You can hire a runner for a plat or two to get you from LA to Ascalon if you want to get there faster/are unsure of the route/don't want to fight low-level enemies. EDGEY
Maybe I'll take a group of low level hero's and level them up on the way back to ascalon... I know I can just go to the locations and start the missions, but will I actually get to start the primary ascalon questline as well like from the first quest/mission or does it "start" in LA?
Vasagi
