Does this item exist?

Hey. I am wondering if an item called Reinforced Aegis really exists.
I found an entry about it on the unofficial GWwiki (Clikck)
What is interesting, the official wiki doesn't mention it (Click) and there are no really details about the shield on the unofficial one.

Here come my questions: do anyone know if this item exists? If it does, where does it drop and what attribute requirement it is?

i have a reinforced defender.. (same skin)

but i dunno about reinforced aegis.. but since wiki mentions it i guess it exists =]

Looking at the history of the Guild Wiki page for the aegis, it seems that page was created during the EotN sneak peak weekend. The one edit made after the official release was only to fix some wiki code.

I have no way to say for sure, but I think one of two things are possible here:
1) During the sneak peak weekend those dropped with that name, but they were removed/changed to match the name of the one that first appeared in NF, the defender.
2) Someone got a Reinforced Defender during the preview and made a mistake with the name when editing wiki, thus creating a new page.

While anything's possible, I find it hard to believe that the official wiki wouldn't have a page for it if the "Reinforced Aegis" still dropped.

Never EVER assume just because a wiki has it it's true. The wiki is made from you and me, not the GW team, so it could be full of it.

They exist, dropped during preview weekend. The ones that drop now are called Reinforced Defender; the ones that dropped back then are still called Reinforced Aegis.
