Well, I think ArenaNet needs to make GoT and GoH customized. I am tired of seeing people spam in Kamadan "WTS 5 gifts 25k" and all that crap. If they made them customized, it would solve all that crap. I mean all I do is get my gifts, open them, and be happy whats inside.

Anyone here else agree they should make them customized?

I mean they were ment for fun. If you want money, go do UWSC. Seriously, I don't think ANET made the gifts for selling.

Why does it matter? Let people sell them if they want. People who want to sell them can sell them, and people who don't want to sell them can open them.

Solve all that crap? What crap? Since when is someone selling something crap? There's no problem to solve here. If you're tired of seeing people selling stuff in Kamadan, turn trade chat off. Kamadan is the main place to sell stuff in Guild Wars.

I agree. And if people want to buy them, for whatever price, let them. Part of the fun with the Gifts of the Traveller, for some, is taking a chance on getting something good out of gifts they've bought. There's nothing anywhere that says you have to participate in the trade of these things.

Somewhat agreed with Arkantos. Although I do think the people selling em for so much is kinda ridiculous. They are not worth that much. But much like z-keys, if people are dumb enough to pay that much, then nothing wrong with people selling em.

You're tired of people selling them, so you want them customized? Well, I'm tired of people trying to sell shitty drops - can we customize those, too? :P Let people be. Whether you sell the presents as is, or open them, the stuff is still going to get sold by some people.

Everything you open from the gifts can be sold, and most of it is just title junk that is sold anyway. What's the difference?

I agree with every up top.... if you are annoyed with the trade spaming in kamadan the just turn off trad chat....

I already think it odd that zaishen coins cant be sold. I rarely see the point of making items like zaishen coins and traveler gifts customized... why not just take GW offline and playable w/o an internet connection so you will never have to deal with stupid people or see anyone sell/buy anything!?!

no now guys come on he is obviously coming from a viewpoint of a man who already has everything he wants in the game. so he dont understand that if someone wants to save up for fow armor or a r9 obby edge, they actually have to sell what they get for gold to buy the mats or ectos for trade. so please take it easy on leet tankur.

Then turn off trade channel. Those stupid presents have like a 40% chance of dropping crappy summoning stones (based on a small n=50 sample). They're not worth opening unless you're obsessing about a VDS or spider egg, or maybe going for a cash title.
