Rune trader out of runes?
subman247
I just went to the rune trader to buy a Major scythe rune and it didnt even show up for me to request a price. all other runes where there but not that one. So my question is does the trader only have a set number untill other players sell theres to the trader? and does the stock ever replenish on its own? Thanks for your help

The stock never replenishes. The trader only has what players will sell to him. Thus popular farming build runes are often sold out (superior shadow arts for PermaSins, superiors for 55 monks). Kinda weird that majors are sold out, but since they are so worthless, I guess nobody bothers to sell them to the merchant much.
Just check back again later. Sometimes within seconds somebody will sell back another rune. Just close the dialogue box and talk to the trader again. Also, it doesn't matter which trader you go to, all of them use the same network.

Forgive my ignorance here but does this include crap armor items you sell to the actual merchant or does the sale need to be made to the rune trader himself?
Never knew this, always thought there was a happy rune storage facility in heaven... i always farmed my runes.

You get more money id'ing purple runes and selling to the merchant, meh.
