So I was doing gate of pain in hm with h/h on my dervish when I reached the part where you had to kill the tortureweb dryder. I thought " hey it's just one ele boss! how hard can it be?" So i charged in and it 2 hit KOed me doing ~350 damage/skill I was wondering how it could do so much to me when my own ele only hits for ~100 damage on 60 AR foes

It's level 28(30) in hard mode. The higher the level, the higher the damage. It also most likely has 16+ fire magic.

Very easy mission if you research before jumping in. Elemental prot is quite useful there.

Yea, I thought that was funny to. Watching my heroes getting practically 1 shotted by liqued flame. Luckily I made malestrom and prot spirit so it was pretty easy.
