Armor Preview Box

Similar to the Dye Preview box, we should be allowed to preview our armor we are going to craft (or not) on our character. I cannot tell you how many times I've wasted 15k+ to buy a piece of armor to find out it looked HIDEOUS. Yes, there is a screenshot request thread, but I don't want to spend weeks to find out how it looks, to not even have the dye right, ect.

Thoughts? Ideas?

This has been suggested countless times. Also a way was found where you can see how armour would look on your character. It involves getting a friend with the armour you want to preview to trade you his armour, and then you try to dye it and the preview of the armour will come up on your character.

not good enough if ur looking to see how it will look on ur comp i like the preview box idea

Yea, too bad wiki doesn't have an exact replica of your character, hair, ect.

and what if one of your friends doesnt have the armor/cant afford/isnt the same gender/not the same characteristics as your toon/you have no friends?

Also doen't show clipping issues...

IIRC gender and class were irrelevant... the dye preview automatically switches it over to the correct class and whatnot, just like the HoM did once that went account wide.

Most of the clipping issues are noted on the wiki page, though, which is better than nothing.

why not? it's not as serious as other problems but it's helpfull, harmless, and if you don't like it then don't use it =]
