Hey guys,
I'm kind of a noob with this stuff so im looking for some help. Ive used the search button for an answer, however, i could not find one. I would like to completely remove GW from my computer. I KNOW how to uninstall the program, however, i noticed something. When i initially installed guild wars, or even during updates, the program downloads massive amounts of files, ranging from 100 - 10,000 files. I'm just wondering...where in the world are all these files located? How can i delete them if i cant find them? Are they deleted when you uninstall guild wars from the control panel?
Thanks for all your help : )
Appreciate it,
-Jason

Yea, all those files are actually just merged into one giant file (aka gw.dat). Just remove it via the Windows remover, and that'll remove it all.

The only thing that will not be removed is the templates folder, screencap folder, and another folder, can't remember the name of that one. Depending on your OS. It will be in Program Files>>Guild Wars in the Documents folder in Vista/7

To answer your question about the "massive amount of files" essentially, the GW.DAT file is a hierarchical-structured file archive, thats where the 10,000+ Files are. One swift delete of that and they are all gone.
