Hey everybody.
After a 8 month hiatus I am returning to GW.
Before I install it, I was wondering if there are ways to reduce the toll GW takes on my laptop; are there any ways to setup your computer so GW runs quicker and less "prettier", and yes I know I'll turn down the graphics to the bare minimum.
I am running the 32bit Vista I believe.

There really aren't many ways to make it run faster if your comp can't handle GW on the lowest graphics quality. It ran pretty breezy for me on my old xp, it's incredibly smooth on my vista.

My laptop can run GW very well, but I am afraid it might over heat. So until I buy a cooler, I just wanted to know if there were some simple tweaks to make it run cooler.
