i know this sounds noobish but how can a shield be max dmg when it isnt a weapon?? i confused! lol
and wot would be max for a shield like this one?

He meant max armor, which would be Armor 16
And it only has 1 mod and that one is far from being max (+45)

So yes, sell it to merchant.
