Xunlai Chest Start Gold (Factions)

So I was in the Monestary today, and kept seeing "Can someone give me 100g for my chest?"

Then I figured, here's a helpful little way to get 100g easily for ya right at the start.

When you first make your toon, go run to the henchies and take the quest there from the guard. Then grab a henchie and head outside. turn in the quest right there, since he standing there once you walk outside, and he will give you a Monastery Credit.

Then go back in, Go to the Quartermaster, and buy a Scroll of Adventurer's Insight. Go to the Merchant and sell it. Quick easy 100g. Now you have 100g to open your chest and get your materials tab at the same time. Much faster than waiting to see if someone will give you 100g and instead, you did it on your own.

Not sure if this is the right place for it, but figured it would help some of you out there.

you get 90g just fromthe first 2 quests.

yea, it IS a good idea, but some are stupid enough to spam instead of actually working to play the game.

most common response is "go kill 5 things, and you get your money".

Factions is prob the easiest to make gold/exp since the storyline is shorter, so it normally yields more quests, and better rewards than proph.

Well...if these guys don't even got the patience to make 100g..then they might as well quit GW. But good tip anyways.

Also, the very first primary quest you get before you enter the monastery gives you 30 gold, you turn it in literally like 5 feet from where your spawned into Shing Jea, so even if you must beg other people, you need only beg for 20 gold. Then you can get the basic storage and grab 50 gold out of there to get mat upgrade, and if you don't have 50 gold in storage yet, my guess is your new and in that case you don't even need mat storage and can get it later when you acquire 50 gold (which will only take 1 or 2 quests).

I always pay 1k if I do get the money, mostly when I'm running late.

Good tip but i doubt newer players will care. What's worse are the rich people begging for 50g in Ascalon.

funny thing is i've been doing this ever since factions was out or maybe a few months after...i thought it was common knowledge...but at least someones trying to make it known

I normally just give the players the 50g/100g if there nearby purely because I like flaunting my overwhelming wealth.
