ranting and raving here won't help your pc or fix your video card - if you would like to tell us some more about what it was doing prior to dieing on you and if you would tell us pertinent information about your case, it's airflow, and overall PC configuration, then perhaps we could suggest things to help you prevent this from happening again.

In any case - you should have a 2yr or more warranty - so don't sweat it just yet - you're probably going to get a new one.

your RAGE is strong and mighty.

but hey, at least your room didn't get struck by lightning, and your pc got knocked silly in the process.

WoW! Your video card's fan is not spinning! I can see why you are so outraged. [/sarcasm]

Did the fan just plain die, or did you allow it to beome clogged with dust and dirt? After you clean it, try giving it a shot of a spray oil (a light/thin oil, like sewing machine oil)

muhah, the fan stoppped spinning i think it burned out or something, but its easy to replace the fan, even the whole cooler can be replaced.
But the problem is i have to get one of those exact same fans.
I took the fan out gave it a drup of oil, cleaned the very little dust that was on it, then reconnected and screwed the fan back on to no avail.
I havnt tested another fan yet but i will soon.
For now i just put in an older card in.
But in 1 more week im getting my money and im bringing the card back to the store, maybe visit some computer dump/repair shops buy a small vga fan if the store doesnt replace.
I'm just pissed though only 1 month ago i bought a video card for another computer, and 2 weeks ago a new 360 cause old one died..

If you're going to buy nVidia, buy from EVGA.
