I'm unsure where to post this, so if it's more appropriate in Site Feedback or elsewhere, please move.

While browsing Guru in Opera, I've noticed some anomalies. Multiple edits of a post result in the erasure of the previous edit, i.e. text from the 1st edit is gone upon editing a second time, while the original text remains.

After posting in a thread, sometimes I am unable to see my post after clicking on the link from the index. This happens to other posts as well, sometimes clicking a thread with a new reply will not display the newest reply.

I suspect there is some browser setting or option in Opera that I have configured incorrectly, or perhaps there is a conflict with Opera and Guru. Please reply if you know how to resolve this.

Please don't bother recommending a different browser, I already know Firefox works fine without any of these issues.

I honestly can't help with this MisterB. My recommendation is to ask in our Technician's Corner as I've honestly never used Opera and couldn't speak about whether this may be a site issue or a vbulletin software issue.

Thank you for your reply, Inde.

I did originally post this thread in the software section of the Tech forum, but it was moved here. It was my thought that other users browsing Guru with Opera may have encountered similar issues, and the folks over in the technician's corner would be most likely to have an answer.

If the best answer turns out to be: "Don't use Opera.", I'm fine with that. I have Firefox, too. I know the limitations and have adapted to them, but Opera consumes less memory and loads faster for me. Searching with Google and on Opera's site and forums has not turned up anything useful. I found a discussion on Opera and vbulletin, but it was incomprehensible to me.
