I made a new account on my computer. I think I deleted an important file or something. Anyways when I try to save a skill template it says, "The attempt to save Skills Template named blah failed because the file could not be created/written to."

ok if you did delete, check your trash bin if you haven't cleaned it out. Let me know what exact folder it was from. You should have everything from launch, dat, and I think a TMP file.

You lack sufficient privileges to create files in the templates directory. This is a windows problem, not a GW problem.

If that's the case, your profile probably isn't administrator. Can you switch?

Is the OP running Windows XP, Vista, 7?.... It could be that GW isn't running in administrator mode, try this: quit GW, then right-click on the GW desktop icon, if you see an item that says 'Run as administrator' then click on it to play the game (instead of double-clicking the icon like normal). It also may be, like Chthon said, an administrator issue with your user account. The procedure for fixing this is a little different between Windows versions (and need to know which version of Windows you're running).
