VSF Farm Question

I'm just wondering if you can do VSF Farming without having done any of "The Last Hierophant."

Yes you can, just get the Justicar Thommis (or however you spell it) quest. I recommend actually doing all of "the last hierophant" quests though as they are actually probably the most fun quests in all of Guild Wars.

Reminds me of the time I uttered the combo "HP points".
Based on wiki, VSF means Voltaic Spear Farming which means that adding "farm" to that term isn't needed.

You don't need to do anything to "get the quest." When you enter Slaver's Exile, the quest is automatically added to your log. The requirement to enter Slaver's Exile is you have to have beaten EOTN. (This I think is because it's an "elite dungeon.")

Actually, only 1 in the party has to have completed EotN, per Slaver's Exile note #2 in official wiki...

To sum up what's been said:

At least one person in the party needs to have finished EotN in order to enter Slaver's

The Last Heirophant is automatically added to your quest log when you enter Slaver's, unless, of course, you already have it. (I'm not sure if you get it if you haven't finished EotN)

The VS farm involves killing Justiciar Thommis and getting his Slaver's Chest. So basically, you are doing the first part of The Last Hierophant when you VSF and, naturally, don't need to have done it already.
