Pacifism and Binding Chains question
Braxton619
What are the point of these skills? I mean as soon as the foe takes damage, it ends. Can someone tell me why in the right mind someone would use this skill or Binding Chains?

Depends on its use. As a physical damage class in PvE you will hate parts of the Jade Sea where Binding Chains is used. The Rits cast it on you and the other monsters ignore you pretty well making you useless to the team unless it is removed. If used in PvP it can shut down someone like the interrupt Ranger unless his team can remove it. You just have to communicate with your team on yuor target so they don't attack it. Using spells on it that don't deal damage still work, so Binding Chains + degen spells can be effective.
Yes, its use is limited greatly, but its power is great as well. Its called balance.

I'd believe it's good for runners? And to shut down warriors, but they'd get the enchantment removed pretty quickly i guess.

Maybe you want to kill the monk of a group, but you want to get a warrior or two off your back while doing it.

I hated having to vanquish the Jade sea on my derv because it seemed like i always had binding chains on me the whole time

ive used in in ab to shutdown lone warriors and assassins lol

They are primarily PvP-oriented skills. Assuming the other side has a physical-based attacker, you can take them out of the fight for a while, resulting in a 12-on-11 or 8-on-7 or 4-on-3 advantage. For 1 skillslot, that's not a bad deal.
