I don't think there is anything wrong with them, but it would be nice if there was a reason to do them besides wrapping up the plotline. The only use for them I see is the exp for survivor chars. Think it would be kind of cool if it got the same treatment as Urgoz and The Deep where a chest spawns dropping a gold item. Would be nice to see a chest at the end of Sorrow's Furnace too.

Only one problem: they aren't repeatable.

Why is that a problem? The OP isn't asking for Hard Mode quest farm. It's more of an incentive to do the quest at all.

I think that they are too easy to get something like a rare chest spawn at the end of them.

Make them harder if anything, give a gold reward, fix Vision of Glint's dialogue after completing the Titan Source so that Elona isn't ignored for Elonian chars. Give the Vision of Glint a functional purpose after completing the quests.

None of it will ever happen. (GW2)

I'd do it if there was a chest spawn.

I did it on one character, then excessive yawning prevented a repeat on my other characters.

The UW and FoW can both be done quite easily and end with a chest that gives more than one item.

Dungeons can also be done easily and give a special reward chest.

As for it being non-repeatable, end missions only give one green per character, so I don't see a big deal.

I am all for this having some sort of reward. As it stands, exp is almost useless at that point, and can be gained much easier elsewhere.

Because adding an end chest with a gold weapon inside would totally make them worth it?

UW and FoW can be done easily because Shadow Form hasn't been nerfed. When failnet eventually does it, then it will be longer than the titan quests again. Dungeons are ran by permas and 600/smite teams, slightly less imba.

The fact is that they were never meant to be "reward quests/areas." It was the laziest and most effective way for Anet to tie up the storyline back in the day. Thats all the quests were meant to do. But at the very least, they could and should go in and change the dialogue after you finish the quests, so the Vision of Glint doesn't think my derv or para is from CANTHA. If it takes them 30 mins to fix dialogue, then yeah they shouldn't, but the only reason it takes them 30 mins to do something is because GW2 gets all the attention. Before they did this dramatic switch in priority, they should have FIXED their game first...but thats for riverside...

Yeah, this has been suggested before. It is the only thing that makes 100% sense...except for the fact that anet has better things to do (GW2).

I've also come to the hope that Anet will use this lore-wise for GW2. As in, the Titans were not completely eradicated and they will be a typical GW2 enemy. Something tells me the titans will always be around somehow. GW2 GW2 GW2, blah blah blah, im making myself sick.

True they arn't repeatable, but it would be nice to have a special reward at the end. This might encourage people to do Prophecies with other chars.

It's a problem because if OP is suggesting a nice enough reward at the end I can't get it anymore!

Having some incentive to do those quests is better than having none, I suppose. After completing them on one character, they're kind of 'meh, why bother again?'
