Raider
nintendosal
Okay, so the profession I have created is called a Raider. Their primary weapon would be a whip, and they specialize in close/mid range quick, medium-low power attacks. The whip is one-handed, so you may carry a focus in the other hand.
Their attributes would be as followed:
Whip Mastery-
The more attribute points in here, the stronger your whip attacks would be, and the faster you would attack. For each rank in Whip Mastery, you attack 1% faster. Many skills dealing with whip attacks become stronger with this attribute.
Conjuration-
No inherit effect. Many skills dealing with summoned allies increase with this attribute.
Concealation-
No inherit effect. Many skills dealing with defense and restoration become stronger as the ranks become higher in Concealation.
Desertion-
No inherit effect. Many skills dealing with speed, escaping, and evasiveness increase with this attribute.
Skills:
Iron Tip- 5e, 3/4sct, 20srt
Preparation. For (5-27) seconds your whip hits for +(4-13) damage. Must have a whip equipped. (Whip Mastery)
Conjure Dirt Devil- 15e, 4sct, 30srt
Summoning spell. Summons a level 15 spirit that releases a level (1-5) Dirt Devil every (26-13) seconds, who's attacks blind foes for 7 seconds. (Conjuration)
Signet of Melitho- 1/2sct, 20srt
Signet. Removes 1 condition from yourself each time you recieve healing from an ally. Lasts for (10-24) seconds. (Concealation)
*Elite*Cry of the Stalskull-5e, 20srt
Elite Shout. You move (11-33)% faster for (1-9) seconds. You also have 50% chance to block. When you block an attack this way, you gain
(10-25) health and 1 energy. (Desertion)
The armor for a Raider would be medium strength, of that similar to a ranger. It would be AL 65.
Okay, please tell me opinions and other stuff xD ,haha, took the time to do this Thank You

Seriously a class with a whip? Guild Wars is not a rodeo.

I usually like to read some of these ideas, and yours don't seem bad. Something similar to this could be introduced in "guildwars 2"
The problem I'd have is, can you make this class solo things without being tanked to death?
Shame you had to post right before I did and your trollsomeness needed to get in the way.
Also, did you actually read his/her post before commenting? Just like my texmod tpf thread where you trolled a "lemme google that for you" which caught you in act of tl;dr'ing right off the bat when i had stated I already googled it.
This isn't a suggestion thread but a small idea that he/she would like to share with us.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME! this skill is a shout, with it at max it can be permamaintained and you can go /R or /W and pop on a stance for more blocking and you will be blocking every hit so that 25hp +1energy per hit, and you will be a walking tank. im well aware the perma is even more abused but still.

Bond Of Melitho... a signet?
A. Who's melitho?
B. Every signet has "signet" in it. (i.e. Signet of Illusions, Antidote Signet)
C. OVERPOWERED ELITE
*EDIT*
D. You don't have an attribute for the foci. (focus in plural).
E. No profession special attribute.
Dont forget that it's not even in it's profession special attribute

it's not to crackdown the idea of the poster, but i just dont like the idea of a class with a whip -.- still i've got to admit you have a lot of fantasy :P
rapier sounds better, but still that more in the direction of a warrior.

A whip huh, interesting idea :-)
While at it.. might say some random Indiana Jones quotes whenever you do a critical hit:
"Yes. I understand its power now."
"Stop! Look, just - stand against the wall, will ya?"
"You know what your problem is, Princess? You're too used to getting your own way."
"Wait! WAIT! He's mine!"
