I usually do lots of other things on the computer while I am playing Guild Wars so it is quite annoying to switch to and from full screen. That being the case, I use browser mode. However, everytime I right-click my mouse, my character view is pointed at the sky and cannot be brought back down. Any suggestions? Included are screenshots of before and after I click.
Thank you.

I think this would be more appropriate for the Tech's Corner.

I think it would be awesome for a GW Browser. That way you can wiki stuff and etc.

Not sure what browser mode is, i'm assuming it's an internet browser? If so..Try this handy program, you will need an account but it's 100% free to get an account. On the left side and a bit down you can download it.

Will look a bit like this in game:

One question chrisworld... to get browser in guild wars from steam... do we have to buy the game from there?

I prefer Xfire for an ingame browser more than steam just because I can have a video playing and watch it while making builds etc

To answer leet's question, no. All you need is a free account + the steam client all 100% free. Once you log into the steam client you will need to add GW as a "non steam" game and launch GW from steam to use the browser. GW purchased from steam would just register as a "steam" game and work the same way. Not sure why you can't just download gw from steam for free since... when you BUY it from steam you get the game and a key... downloading would just get a client worth nothing.

This would be the best bet for OP.

You know how at the top right corner you have three buttons? One to minimize, one to close, and the last one (in the middle) gives you "browser mode". I hope that helps people understand what he's talking about.

In the top right corner of the screen, beside the big "X" that closes the game, theres a button called "restore down". Then you can play guild wars in any size you want. It isnt full screen anymore.

so, "browser" mode is just windowed mode yes? That is a very confusing bug... Because of my vista driver issues I often have to minimize/maximize the game because of graphical anomalies. I wonder if you're having a similar issue.

I'm using vista, and there is an inherent incompatability with Nvidia graphics drivers which a lot of people are having issues with. It used to freeze my whole computer, but the newest update has meant that instead of crashing, it will freeze for a few seconds and then go black and restore, but sometimes it doesn't go black and instead I end up with odd graphical anomalies, like lines in the sky, characters being cubes, inverted colours etc. It goes away if I minimize and maximize, but it also means that I have to repair my .dat file once a week.

Perhaps make sure all your graphics drivers are up to date, and perhaps try repairing your .dat file. It might just be a graphics glitch.

Hope that helps a little.

Yes, Windows mode. Sorry for the confusion everybody. The graphics are fine though, its just that whenever I right-click, my view gets stuck looking at the sky. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling,
Thanks everyone.

I never usually play in windowed mode because everything behind it like browser or itunes is very slow when gw is in windowed mode.
