Hello guys
So here's the deal, i bought GW in 2007 and played until the beginning of 2008, i got Proph and Nightfall
i came back now and saw the older campaigns a little 'abandoned', don't see people for quests or missions, so i wanna know if EotN is like this too or its worth buying or should i wait for GW2 (long time )
Thanks, sorry for my english
Returning now, little questions

The game is still pretty quiet especially in Prophs and Factions. It will continue to be like this until it finally dies...
Don't get me wrong EOTN is heavily populated... But the majority of people are either playing with Heros or they're hiring a runner to run them through missions and dungeons. That said Zbounties/Missions/Quest have spiced things up a wee bit but it still feels stale.
Best bet is playing in the American districts.

The game has always been generally quiet IMO, the later missions and smaller towns/outposts in late prophicies have always been pretty dead. You can always run missions with heroes/henchmen, I beat pretty much all the games with h/h.

There are also a lot of guilds who do things, so you might check out the Guilds section here on guru. You can look over the Guild Looking For forum or post your own in Player Looking For forum.
The official wiki (available in-game as F10 or help on menu or /wiki in the chat bar) at http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page can explain the daily Zaishen quests, which consist of a mission, a boss bounty and a PvP combat quest.
Getting things to put into your Hall of Monuments (mini-pets, heroes & pets, titles, certain weapons, elite armor) for the future benefits in GW2 is what most long-term players spend them time doing.

Playing with random people (PUGs) will be slow. Most of them are only doing so for missions, and usually only in Hard Mode as well. Eye of the North is heavily populated, but again, most people only group for HM and many will be looking for runs through dungeons.
Key would be to find an active guild. Many recruit in the game, but there are also a lot that recruit on this forum.

The US districts normally have more players than the Euro I've found.

I didn't even know about this Zaishen stuff, kinda nice.
Thanks again.

I would buy factions because A/E builds are crucial for running EOTN in some cases

While shadow form assassins may be overpowered and be common place in a lot of GW, you can still easily play through a huge amount of content without one. Many areas use SF sins to tank, but then theres the other 6/7 party members, getting a perma sin set up would give you huge amounts of possibilities, but then you could become like me and refuse to play it out of the boredom of playing the same thing over, and over.
