Is it just me or did keg farming got difficult now?

Okay so I haven\t keg farmed for a year, but when I got to the vaetirrs I let myself die knowing I would respawn on the res shrine. However it said to respawn at the nearest outpost I was what the .... And whats the deal with the popping out worms?

They nerfed it I think, something about the keg activation time or something.

It's possible, if not likely, that you were in HM and you accumulated 60% DP. In which case, game over.

On the other hand, Keg farming got hit with the nerf bat pretty hard. He only drops one keg every couple seconds now.

Those "popping out worms" are a rare spawn that will sometimes appear on the run to Jaga Moraine, I'm surprised you haven't encountered them before!

As for the dying & returning to outpost, you most likely accumulated 60% Death Penalty. When kegging before, killing all those vaettir removed all of your DP so you probably never noticed it before. Since you most likely died from those aforementioned wurms, you probably had 45% DP before dying, thus "DPing Out" (having to return to town).

As for kegging the Vaettir in general, it takes about 3 seconds for Budger to release a powder keg now, not really worth it as they will just scatter about ;P

Vaettir can still be farmed, and easily, just not with Budger and the kegs. A/E and A/Me still has some options I believe, but E/Me is the easiest to use.
