Farming & Ascend

Hey I'm pretty new to the franchise, so I was wondering where a good place to farm would be in nightfall?

I'm looking more for money, but if you know any other spot for any other farming purposes, please do tell.

Also, I'm not going to understand things like, FoW, or UW and such. So please do explain your abbreviations if you use any.

One last thing, I was wondering what ascend is and how to ascend?

Ok to answer the farming question, i dont know if you have beaten the game but if you have I like the noob island in Hard mode. It is rather easy to get through and can bring big money. If you have not it would help to know your cahrecter class so I can give you good spots accordingly.

As for the abbreviations:
FoW = Fissure of Woe
UW = Underworld

And for your ascending question, In nightfall just get to the by completing the Quest "Hunted!". In Prophecies you need to complete the missions in the Crystal Desert. In Factions you need to become "Closer with the Stars" (Complete the mission at Nahpui Quarter).

"Hunted!" is a quest that is part of the main storyline. Just continue with your primary quests and you'll make it there.

I take it you have left to leave noob island. Keep doing primary quests until you get to the Consulate Docks mission, after the mission there will be a chain of quests that will lead to Hunted and ascension.

Good luck farming though, as a paragon your options are severely limited. Your best way to earn would be vanquishing and EotN dungeons, but seeing as you're new you're still months away from gathering the necessary hero skills and getting enough experience to being able to.

@ Gennadios, thanks! Yea I am pretty new but I looked at this farming build the paragon has from the wiki (it's the only one). Looks very promising since it is P/Mo, but who knows, I'd probably mess up =P

Ascension is a pretty epic feat in the other games, but it seems like a pretty major afterthought in NF, you probably did it without realizing it. On the plus side, if you've gotten to Dzagonur Bastion, you are likely already ascended.

so what does ascending actually do?

Grants you access to the realms of the Gods. Underworld and Fissure of Woe can only be accessed by ascended characters. If you want more info on it, Wiki and Wikia will tell you all you need to know.
