I have two questions about this, firstly after reading the guides on how to death level, how to/quickest way ect. none explicitly stated whether or not once you leave the explorable area the monsters level goes back to its original level or not? I assume it does and thus is why the title takes so long to achieve but im not 100% certain so if someone could clarify that for me i would be grateful.
Secondly once you have death leveled your target monsters (i will be doing charr) How much if at all does their damage increase by? I assume it will go up somewhat but as they cannot spend their attribute points does its basic damage go up and skills damage stay the same?
Thanks Stark your answers have helped alot. I appreciate you opinion that its a silly waste of time title however i would rather do this than sit their constantly consuming alcohol, sweets or party items and spening a fortune on them and its the only title im likely to max as i will be afk most of the time and thus wont get bored and give up on it.
Thanks again!

LDOA is actually not a huge time waster - sure it wastes your computer's time, but not yours. I got it fairly quickly by setting it up right before I went to sleep (setup takes like 15 minutes once you get the hang of it) killing the monsters when I got up, setting up again, going to work, and killing the monsters when I get home. Then I can play whatever I want that night, then setup before I go to bed again. Super easy, took a month or so even with my computer occasionally lagging out. Just make sure you don't take any quest rewards until you're level 19 (it'll take you almost all the way to level 20) and go /r if you're not primary ranger (but don't accept the rewards, the quests there allow you to 'try out' each secondary before you choose one) so you can use troll unguent when you're pulling.

I never understood why Arena Net would release a title like this, but make it obtainable in such a strange way to let it's players figure out ways to get it like death leveling.
How are you a defender of Ascalon (a legendary one at that) if you die 4000 times a day, hahahahaha.

Agreed
Its a pet hate of mine, titles that are utterly pointless or that no sane character would ever undertake.
Convinced that it was added to win a bet amongst gw staff and that no one would ever go for it.
They lost as many have gone on to claim this title.
Please no death leveling for GW2

actually, the title was only added later in the game, after people have found out about deathleveling. so Anet thought of a way to award those that have spent countless amounts of time into getting lv20 in pre: LDoA

Anet noticed. and after a bit of to and fro where for a short preiod they stopped monsters being able to level, they reverted them to the way things were, and then created a title.
