Sorrow's flame?

hey hope this is on the right board ^^;
anywho, i've got all the items in incubator kit for my black moa chick, been to sorrow's furnace and tried getting hit by the flame. but it didn't work D:!

*does the character the incubator kit belongs to need to be hit, whilst carrying the kit? (i gave the kit with items to another char and it didnt work, i'm just not sure if i got hit since the animation displayed before the damage happened, and the iron forgeman prefered killing my pet).

The incubator must belong to the character who takes it to the Sorrow's Flame otherwise it will not turn in to a chick. I learned that the hard way, too.

Also make sure that you're getting hit by the forgeman's "Sorrow's Flame" and not the environmental effect. The latter won't cut it either. :P
