Hey I was wondering how hard it would be for me to try and kill a "special" monster that carries a unique and make it drop it?

I've heard fighting with a party will lessen the chance of you getting it, but the special monster is in quite a big group. Is there anything a Paragon can do about that if I try fighting that group alone?

Paragons aren't the best green farmers, most they can do it maybe farm the bosses outside arborstone or something like zehluhun's or Bzzr's Bendiction (Bad spelling)

If you want a green farmer a necro can farm quite a few, but the ultimate farmer is a sin.

You chance of getting a green with full henchmen party is roughly 1/80, depending on boss

Only a very few greens are worth more than 5k. If you don't have a class to farm greens, buying them isn't hard.

It depends upon the Boss. One technique you can try is to bring a full group of heroes and/or henchmen with you and kill everything but the boss. Then flag the h&h off the radar so that their names are grayed out in the party box. Then kill the boss by yourself. If the boss is going to drop a green, you'll get it.
Depending how tough the boss is, you may have to flag your guys after the boss is partially killed, or you may not be able to kill him alone at all.
