make runes/minipets stack
HellZHawK
so pushed for space right now.. making runes and pets stack in your storage would be a little help
Shayne Hawke
Runes I could understand, but minipets, no. Just how many of one minipet do you need to have?
Fabez
Shayne, you can never have enough Whiptail Devourers.
I don't have a need for either change personally, but I don't see any downsides either.

LoneManWolf
doubt they will do this they want u to waste more money on extra storage panes and more character slots lol
HellZHawK
yes pets maybe not, that is more of a personal problem for me, i seem to get the same crappy pets from each of my char's bdays and cannot sell them, however i think making runes and insignias stackable would be great!
@lonemanwolf .. yes sadly i was thinking that too however i refuse to pay for more slots i think its ridiculous

/signed for runes and insignias. Many times I've wished that they would stack. There really isn't a reason that they shouldn't.
Dont' care about minipets. You really don't need them to play the game, whereas Runes and Insignias are an important part of armor.

Why would you put Runes in your storage? Sell them or use them

It would also be awesome if they made a pane like the material storage, but for runes and insignias. Not that it would cause much harm to their income from storage panes, as, like Arduinna said, people normally use their runes and insignias right away or sell them. Still, I think it would be nice for those times when you know you have another character that needs a specific rune, but your storage is filled with stuff that would take a fair deal longer to relocate.

Sugested a million times. Anet won't do it... They didn't want to do it long time ago and now they actually have a reason not to do it, to sell more storage tabs. Retarded IMO.
The best option for storage is and continues to be to purchase cheap mule accounts. Second best is to buy mules for your main account.
Anet will only laugh while reading this thread.
One thing they should have done already is a Book storage or an item (like the incubator) where you have all possible books for any given character. All characters need books (that is if you want credit for whatever you do) and books will eat a good portion of your slots if you have several characters with several partial books.

Each of those Fungal Wallow's have a special place in my heart...somewhere. And they each get their very own little box.

NO!
What's the freakin point!
Why do people keep suggesting stackable *runes* for all these years?
RUNES are the only one kind of upgrade components that don't need stackability AND the only one kind that shouldn't have it.
Every other upgrade component should:
-Identical Weapon mods,
-Identical Inscriptions,
-even Insignia, although they don't need it anywhere as much as the 2 types above.
...
And now *minipets*... wtf?
Why you chose the things that need stackability _the least_ ?
Players should NOT be encouraged to hoard multiples of the same minipet!
Instead a specialized minipet storage solution should focus on storing a large variety of minis, to encourage collectability and trading of duplicates.
Think of a 'pokeball' type of item, something like The Incubator Kit meets Festival Hat NPC -- instead of unlocking you could put in and take out a minipet. If the data was stored directly in the account file (like festival hat npc), the item is just a matter of interface. But the data could be stored in the item itself, and that item could store up to 18 different specific minipets (provided they're all either clean or dedicated) per one universal inventory slot.
There's MUCH to be improved in the ways we store our items, storage updates don't necessarily have to add new space to be good. Hope to see more quality storage updates in the future, but no bad ones like suggested here.

I could see Runes being stackable in your inventory. Would help with a space saver definitely instead of having 5 Survivor's Insignias sitting next to each other. Why not have it to where they can stack? /signed
As for mini pets, meh. I think the only thing to help with that, would be the HoM. Have it to where you put your pet on display, but it also puts it in there as storage as well. So this way, you don't have your storage filled up with minis, and instead have your HoM with all your minis stored in it. Then if you want one, go in and pull it out. That way, if you also sell it, it is no longer on display in your monument. Meaning, the mini pets on display are the ones you can take out whenever you want. But as soon as you get rid of one of them, they are no longer on display. Basically a visible storage for minis.
