arrg...I want the crown to match the purple on the armor. The purple on the armor is just plain purple, but everything I try on the crown is just to bright/puplely. Ive tried purple + white/Purple + silver/et all. And Im totally broke, so suggestions? Its just to bright

Have you tried adding more than one white or silver?
Try purple + 2 or 3 whites or 2 or 3 silvers.
And there is no need to apply the dye and lose it, you can preview it in the window before trying and that will save you the dye.

You are going to need to toy around with silver or white and purple a lot to get it right. I'm sure it will work. I had to toy around with believe it or not... purple and green to get a mix of blue on my necros armor to get it to match his cobalt bluish hair color.

White + Gray + Silver + Purple maybe? Seems to give it more of a wash-out look like on your armor.

you might just want to play around with different 4 combos....white, purple, grey, silver, or red/blue with silver grey or white ---sometimes red/blue turns out a lot different from purple.
or you can try yellow with purple grey silver....sometimes yellow does more lightening than yellowing.
