Auction Question

Hello , I have been a member for a while now and have used the Auction bidding often. but for some reason when I place a bid on an item now it's not showing that I had placed a bid.

I dunno if I'm typing the amount in the right way or not. I keep getting an error message. Example: say I'm interested in a shield and it's starting bid is (5,000). Well I type (5000) and I get the error.

When I type it (5,000) it keeps telling me I have to bid higher then minimum bid. so I type (5,500) and it still tells me the same thing??. so I'm doing something wrong here. I just don't know what lol

Would appreciate any help. and yes I have tried IE and Firefox browsers I get the same results.

In an effort to stop vandalism within the Auction system, changes were made to the auction system that have had unexpected consequences with proxy bidding. We are working on fixing these issues.

Ahh, okay thanks for the info and sorry for posting in the wrong section.
