From the bottom of my heart I want to thank all the marvelous and very giving players and members of this board for their excellent suggestions, encouragement, selfless help and generous gifts to me.

I am stunned and humbled by your lavish show of friendship and kindness.

I can assure you, this never happened to me online playing Halo or UT2004.

Thank you again for everything. You folks have been truly fantastic in many wonderful ways and I am blessed and honored to call you friend.

I agree with Nerieda here. I've had much better experiences playing UT than Guild Wars.

I know for all those who stay mainly in Campfire/Riverside/Glad's this forum seems abrasive and very unwelcoming... but there are many many forums on this board that provide a wealth of information, resources and help for players. Even in the above listed forums there's plenty of help, you just can't continually look for the confrontations or you will indeed find and be dragged into them.

On Twitter I post Guild Wars Guru Goodness, highlighting the different posts or threads of the day that are interesting and that come with new insights and tools. Agreed on UT. I've been a member of BeyondUnreal and PlanetUnreal forums since '01, and was quite involved in the mod community. A lot of other FPS communities out there aren't quite as healthy though.
