Iv got a busy week ahead of me, so I havnt had a chance to install,
just wondering is someone had some feedback on the quality/responsiveness on a LAN. Unfortunately, the free version is sorta limiting

I have seen it advertised, but I haven't tried it (no need personally) - I would say you had better have a good fast connection before I would try it though. I would be interested to see how well it works with the paid version. I could start charging friends and family to "stream" the newest games from my gaming PC to their hunk of junk.... XD

I've seen a similar system demo'd at last year's GDC. It was intended as a game version of a pay per view, and the only thing they'd say for sure is that any connection capable of streaming a 1024x768 movie flawlessly, you'll be able to stream a game at the same resolution.

The thing is that was a company that intended to use their own servers and computers to stream the games, meaning they could guarantee those kinds of speeds.

As a p2p service... I just can't see anyone without a cable line being able to host at an acceptable quality.

I'm testing it in about... 30 minutes or so. Got my nice PC's games, my crappy laptop and software on both.

edit: Just tested. In the free version, it's barely worth it. 640x480 is REALLY hard to decipher. And connection wasn't exactly great.
