Heroes not taking player spots.

I think that the "Hero henchmen" should be removed from the player spots in the party. In PVE.

The party would have a total of 6 heroes slots aside from the party slots ,(same as now with a two player 8 man team party) Because a party of 8 real players using three heroes each would be to overpowered (8x4=32).

That will open up room for people to play with people, rather than bringing (sometimes) mandatory heroes to ensure success. and give more leeway for skill builds.

The heroes would naturally take their share of loot and gold, like they do now. so players will still be opt not using them.

Terrible idea. One reason is because many skills trigger only on party members, but heroes and henchmen would just be allies.

Well, I said nothing about them not counting as Party members (in spellcasting and effects)...
I meant that they shouldn't count as players in the party slot system.

I'll be blunt and give the harsh truth:
The reason H/H are primarily used over humans is because of people like OP.
We don't want to play with you. H/H are to AVOID people like you.
Not because they're more efficient than a team of 8 people on ventrillo, spamming overpowered pve only skills.

And for the most part, the impressions from your post certainly doesn't make us want to group either.

You don't realise that this would remove every single scrap of difficulty from PvE don't you? Elite missions, Vloxen, Slavers, etc would be a joke, even in HM.

Anyways, God no. Full human parties are already powerful enough, we don't need the ability to run an additional 6 heroes.

New update is Super Hard Mode (SHM). Exactly like Hard Mode, but the numbers tweeked higher, so to compensate a party of 8 can bring 6 heroes!

This is an amazing idea and will surely make up for the lack of new content.

If there were some kind penalty for both the Heroes and its masters, it could be acceptable, but that's going to be done in GW2.

Too late for such a change in GWO.
