Video issue in GW

hey i've been having this problem while playing GW, i think it has to do with my video card. I'll start the game and everything is fine, next minute my computer reboots. basically i looked at my video card and it looked like one of the power connections (to the PS) was broken. I put a paperclip in the middle of it to try and maintain the connection but now my video card doesn't display anything.

Again, everything on the card looks fine, i'm starting to wonder if i need to update the drivers. what do you guys think is wrong?

other than you short circuiting your graphic card, nothing's wrong.

You most likely finished your graphics card off by doing that... I would have checked for dust clogging air ports and fans/overheating signs first rather than jam a paperclip in one of the most expensive parts of my computer.

From what you said, sounds like you need to replace your video card.

Did no one ever teach you about electric and how it can kill you when you mess with it, if you replace your GFX card or PSU, i strongly advise you let someone else fit them, and in future if something is broken replace it, dont use a paperclip to try and get the power to continue.

For anyone else thats a novice with a computer, dont ever use a paperclip or other metal object to try and connect a connection that electric runs threw, its common sense.

no. you've destroyed your card with your little paperclip stunt.
