Slow Redraw after minimize and Randomness

Hiya,

Sometimes GW will randomly minimize to my desktop which, as you can imagine is very frustrating. I am not sure if it is the OS(vista32) or another app. Perhaps it is the sidebar?
In addition to this problem when it does minimize it seems that it takes forever for GW to rerender, maybe 30 sec or more.
I have a BFG 8800GTS OC and it never took long until the last driver update. It this a known issue with the Nvidia drivers or is it a GW build issue.

you probably have spyware or other malware running on your computer. when they activate themselves, it might cause applications to minimize. do a clean sweep of your computer with your antivirus and antispyware software, and hopefully that will fix it.

I did a spyware scan as well as a virus scan, nothing. I also checked the running services and processes and found nothing unusual. I have a feeling that the random minimization is from the vista sidebar. As for the Re-rendering lag I feel that is the drivers...ah well it seems that there is nothing that I can do except disable sidebar(which I like..) and reverting back to an older driver.

Guess what; I have Vista, and this has happened to me.

Edit: I don't use the sidebar, and this still happens (very rarely, though).

I have an 8800 GTS as well, and it seems that vista has some major issues with the past few drivers that nvidia has released. The issues have gotten better with the newer drivers but I'm afraid that they are still a little crashy. It is definitely an annoyance, but there really isn't much we can do about it right now.

Are you sure you aren't bumping the windows key? It IS right in the middle of the alt and control keys, that will minimize gw, also ALT + TAB bumping by accident will also minimize.
