Ok so recently I decided to reinstall guildwars, but when I try and install guildwars I get stuck on the "Connecting to Arenanet" window. I have opened a ticket on the guildwars play nc support site and they asked me to run a gameadvisor.exe program. I ran the program and attatched the results (which was a txt file) on a reply to the ticket. I then got a reply saying that I need to activate ports 80 and 6112 on my router. I have tried doing this at http://www.portforward.com/english/r...Guild_Wars.htm, I have a Netgear WGR614v9 router. But I still cannot seem to connect to arenanet... The weird thing was I could play guildwars fine until I went to reinstall it...
Help is greately appreciated.

Just bad luck.
Today is maintenance. Just wait a while and try again.

I have also had this problem occur. The problem is that the link you already listed doesn't cover a couple of steps that I HAD to do in order to get the router working properly. See this link from NCSoft:
Last time I had problems with this, it was this link that made everything work.
Hope this helps.
