When i run GW in windowed mode it complete freezes up my system. I prefer to run in windowed mode so i can switch back and forth between vent and Firefox what not. I can't Ctrl+Alt+Del, nothing. I have to do a manual boot to just unlock it, and then restart my computer. It only seems to occur when i turn SLI on though. Anyone have any ideas? I went and downloaded all the newest drivers/updates for windows. Already.

System specs:
Vista Ultimate OS 64 bit
i7 920
evga x58 mobo
6b ddr 3 g-skill 12800 ram
2xGTX 260s

Your computer isn't good enough, sorry.

I think the problem is vista. People with specs like that running in Windows XP usually don't have problems. Vista is terrible. But your computer is very good.

Please ignore the misinformation posted above. Your computer more than qualifies for running Guild Wars and there's nothing wrong with Vista.

You may want to keep GW minimized and open Task Manager. Right click on the GW process and choose "Set Affinity..." Then uncheck every CPU except for CPU0.

Try what Tarun suggested - do be aware that SLI + Vista + GW in window mode has been known to do this for others as well. What I would do is turn off SLI when you play GW - you do not need 2 GTX 260s to max out GW, not even close.... just turn it back on when you have a newer game to play.

I did with Tarun suggested, and it worked just fine. Yeah i know i dont have to use SLI to play GW, but its just easier to leave it turned on. Thanks guys
