so i've been working on going out and capturing as many elite skills as i can lately, and i came up with a question regarding the skill hunter title. Since your secondary profession doesn't include that profession's primary attribute, are you able to capture or use the elite skills from that profession's primary attribute?
For example, i've been running a primary elementalist using Elemental Attunement, an Energy Storage elite skill. Is it possible for a secondary elementalist to capture or use that skill? and if not, do you not need them to finish off the skill hunter track?

Yes, you can use elites from the primary attributes, it's just gonna be crap compared to other elites that you character will be able to use.

You can use any elite spell whether it's your Main or your Secondary Profession.
I mean, if you try to use a Signet of Capture on an Assassin Boss, and you're a Ele/Monk, nothing will even show up for you to capture. But if you kill a Monk Boss and use your signet, you can capture his elite and still use it since you are a secondary Monk.
Only downside, is that since you can't use runes for your secondary profession, the spell won't be as powerful as if an actual Monk used it. But you can still use it to a good degree.

i think the poster is asking about the attribute line of skill such as:
energy storage, divine favor skills from those line
yes u can get them but since u can't put points into those attributes if ur not that primary the skills generally suck

As has been said, yes, you can capture and use elites from your secondary. Like any skill, their effectiveness may depend upon the level of attribute points in the particular line. Obviously, if the skill uses your secondary's primary attribute, you will have no points in that attribute, but you can still use the skill. In the case of Elemental Attunement, it will last for 30 seconds with no points in Energy Storage.
