Traveling between chapters
Vasagi
i under stand this is possible but at what lvl in each chapter is this possible?
thanks

remicks
this depends on if you get a run/ferry, and varies from chapter to chapter.
Vasagi
more so for moving a paragon or dervish to factions
Raven Wing
You may not travel to EOTN before you are level 10, but there are no limitations for the other chapters. You can come out of pre ascalon as lvl1,get run from Ascalon to Lions arch and have someone do the Sunspears in Kryta quest for you, and then you are in Kamadan and so on.
Kendil
The outpost from where you get the quests to travel to another campaign is in:
NF: consulate docks, Factions: Kaineng city, Proph: LA

Get to the Kamadan and from there take ferry to Consulate Docks (price is usually 500g) and from there to Factions (price for this ferry I don't know). But... why do you want to do this? Problem is, there are no skills available for paragon and dervish in Factions so only reason I can see is to get to Factions skills for your secondary professions early and then go back to Nightfall.

A reason why he would want to do it, is possibly self-powerlevel.
I used to do it myself. Take a character from another campaign to KC and take all the mini quests there and the ones in Waijun Bazaar. You can gain a ton of levels from doing those quests, seeing as they give you 2-3k xp each quest, and with the level 20 henchies, it makes it very easy and very fast. I went from level 5, to level 18 with just those quests.
Just like above, go to Kamaden, get a run to the Docks, then get a run to KC from there.

Archress Shayleigh
Get to a dock town and do whatever quest

Dont want to burst any bubbles but,
to charge for going to factions from consulate docks you dont need to pay as
if you take ferry to Lions Arch lets say and as you arrive take the quest there for factions
No fighting involved this way...just let Menhelo lead the way..
.....................
Similar if your finding it hard to get to nightfall from factions just take boat to Lions Arch obtain the quest there for Nightfall and do it from there a lot easir.
.....................
A little leveling tip for some guys who jump over to Factions to level up
When you arrive at K/C you have the welcome to Cantha quest...Dont do it
Look all around and obtain every quest that is in K/C go outside speak to Menhelo and go meet the other party..now you have 14 in your party to do all quests in /around K/C
SO once done you will have "Brother Toasi" quest in your Log now just run to him via the Bazzar no people to fight..once your at him take Reward only
And do every quest at top of bazzar if your not level 20 by time your finished just questing these you have missed some.
...............................
Faction chars
Go to Kiang center when you arrive at bazzar..no need to pay for a run up to K/C just run with hench keeping water on your left all the time be there in 2 mins....do similar quests around KC ou dont have menhelo,s to help you but you can be 20 by doing it the same way as above
Hope this helps some of you

Why do people give such ridiculous answers to a simple question. (except for Kendil). The guy simply wants to know how to get to Factions - never mind all this crap about runs and skills. Some people actually like to play Guild Wars rather than mindlessly rush through it, but in any case, we don't know (or shouldn't care) why he/she wants to get to Factions.
To Vasagi - it's not a particular "level" that allows you to get to other campaigns. It's just a matter of getting to a place. As Kendil said, the three main towns (which are also the 3 on the "boat") are Lion's Arch, Kamadan, and Kaineng Center. Once you get to either of those, there are simple quests to take you to the other campaigns (assuming you own the other campaigns.) None of the quests are difficult, so don't be too concerned about which ones you do.

not ridiculous at all as
A lot of guys are new and if you cant be helpful by offering advice also nomatter what it refers to then its a sad world
To many new guys I see getting ripped off at consulate and Bazzarr so,
this also lets him know you dont have to pay abd your not doing anything fast as
your doing quests in an oderly fashion that reaps rewards/factions to name one

Vasagi
the main reason for doing it is that i just happen to reaaly like th efactions setting, i have messed about in all 3 campaigns and would like to lvl a paragon in cantha.
all the advice with regards to travel and leveling tips are greatly appriciated though.
thanks
