well i was selling ectos for 100k and someone opens trade puts up 100k i put up ectos and after i accept he/she click cancel making it seem like i might have money or the trade isnt going through. Well after this happens about 4 times im just trying to get the trade to go through so i just offer and accept and not knowing he puts up 10k and i just scamed myself.
so watch out for this dum scam and make sure you check that its 100k and not 10k.
im guessing because of the way it happened i cant /report because i clicked accept (and he left as soon as he got his ectos) and support never does anything to help so w/e just watch out.

When dealing with large transactions like that you check EVERYTHING EVERY single time.
When someone puts the right stuff in the window and so do you and they cancel it the first time you must automatically become suspicious because that is always the start of a scam. When someone also says it won't go through or something like lag of the sort, this is also a scam because the trade system and the game work as one, the trade system is not going to lag out yet the game be fine.
Just be very careful next time my friend. Always check and never just hit accept after a few canceled trades just wanting to get it done and over with. There are more scammers out there than legit players.
Also this sort of thing isn't new and has been done since the beginning of online games. Things like this date back to diablo 2, probably even further than that.
Scammer always makes it look like there's a problem with the game and makes it cancel every time.
You might also want to try to contact support, you never know you might get lucky, but higher chances say you won't.
Just be more careful is all we can say at this point.
