New to Guild War

Hi everyone ,

well as the title suggest I'm new to Guild war and pretty much Online Game Multiplayer

I would have gone for WOW but the monthly fee isn't something I can afford , beside addict as I'm to games lol the bill will be hot hot in the end of the month

Anyway , so I just got Guild War (the original no Exp) , and it's already a problem (Sigh) .

See it's a DVD and I don't have a DVD . So now what ?? I have played the trial and done with all the Free hours play . But I do have the access key that came with the game . So do I get a DVD player ? or can I use the key with the demo installed ?? And would that unlock the FUll game ?

You don't need the disc, that's just to quickly install it. Just add your access key to your account to continue playing. I believe once you log in, on the bottom is a button called "manage access keys" or such. Just poke around till you find that.

If you want to download all the stuff instead of area by area, right click the shortcut to gwars and in the target line add " -image", it will then download the stuff the dvd would have done the next time you run it. Remove -image after (-bmp to get high quality screenshots).

Oh, and WRITE THAT CODE DOWN AND KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE. Too many people get "hacked" or somehow have a problem and then when they need serious help support asks for a serial number... if you don't have it, you may be screwed.

As for the code it's on paper , so..hum I don't think they can hack a piece of paper yet . But I will keep it safe and my computer is up to date when it come to virus , keylogger and spyware .

they don't hack a piece of paper. somebody gets their password stolen somehow and then when they want to reclaim the account support asks for serial numbers for proof they owned it since people usually don't share those. but if you can't find the serial number, you may be out of luck.
