GwG and Guild Wars

Alright, just one question.
If you break any '' rules '' here in GwG, or '' scamms '' somebody, I'm sure you'll get banned from GwG, but will you also get banned from Guild Wars?
Or is Guild Wars one thing for itself, and GwG is just a fansite for it.
Since I've heard alot of ANets staffs hangs around here.. that's what made me curious.

GwG is a fansite, you wont get banned for scams or anything like that. If you make a thread saying that you will teach people how to dupe items in-game, and the A-net employees on thios site see it, then A-net may pay closer attention to your accont logs, but will not get you banned immedietly.

This is a private fansite. ArenaNet has chosen not to have an official forum, and so Community Representatives come here to converse. These representatives are not moderators or administrators here, and do not have any direct control over any actions taken here on the forums by the staff.

Which is why I don't post my IGN under my avatar. I don't want people to know me, lol. And even if anet can somehow get your IP address or something from your GWG account and try to find you in game that would be a serious security breach on the user end and i imagine anet can get in big trouble (if they did it alot) *class action lawsuits* for stalking and breaching privacy of members.

Besides what reason would they give you in game? "Trolling or Scamming OUTSIDE of guildwars, on a forum"? that would be enough to bring serious attention to them from many people and cause lots of problems.

Although, if you do stuff in game connected to this forum... it might get you banned.

Ie, somebody started sending me harassing PMs/death threats in Guild Wars over a post I made on guru. That got him banned on both GW and Guru.
