So.. gold farmers gave me an a/e farmer

<3 ambiguous titles, as a note i have never used goldfarmers nor is this a promotion for them.

to cut a long story short, i went inactive from the game for a few weeks recently and came back to find my account blocked, after enquiring to support i quickly got it unblocked and they said the reason it was blocked in the first place is that gold sellers accessed my account.

im guessing i had my email shown publicly and a relatively simple password (changed now to one that's far more secure).

they stripped my discordway/sabway necro and its hero's which was my only real character so i was pretty much humped, but then i noticed that my newbie assassin had popped to level 20, it turns out they turned her into a perma shadow form farmer and even bothered to run her through parts of the game and equip her.

so my situation is this, my necro got cleaned out and i want to farm gold to re-equip him and continue on my vanquishing campaign in hm, yet im not sure how to use this assassin, obviously it clearly works as they amassed over 190 skill points on her, but i need to basically use her and i dont have a clue, any advice is welcome

she is geared as follows:
70ar set with attunement+radiant, and sup shadow arts rune on helm
20/20 HSR/HCT fire staff, +10+5 energy, +20% enchants
deldrimor shear scythe (15^50, zealous, +20% enchants
storm bow 5/1 vampiric, +19% enchants

the skill set they had equipped was:
1) glyph of swiftness
2) deadly paradox
3) shadow form
4) glyph of lesser energy
5) fire attunement
6) lava font
7) bed of coals
8) burning speed

im assuming she's for underworld since she has done ascendancy at factions and then been run to temple of the ages, so how would i go about using this character? any advice on runs or playing it is welcome

Same thing happened in another thread and to a guildie, you got the short end, gold farmer "left" over 100 ectos on the Guldies account when it was disabled.

Lol.. why can't people just make an assassin and farm for themselves? Anyway... farm planes!

With a mesmer secondary you can do 2min runs. I think ele is 5min?

As for the run, just ball up the ones that drop ecto, kill em and then resign.

well just checking back into the thread, after watching some youtube vids and practicing a little i've made some progress at least, considering i'd never really played a sin or even gone in u/w before

i've managed to learn how to use the build to kill the mobs, memorize the route into planes and the patrols but im just confused how the farm actually works

when you kill the horse rider guys+ghouls to spawn the next set (which spawn more/more again/etc), do you bunch up a lot of the map? or just take 1-3 spawns at a time? any advice for when i hit the planes?

edit: ok im starting to learn this managed to actually clean quite a few groups before a lag death, and figured out the answer to my last question as the monsters seem to have a max wander range, so i guess its best to group 2-3 squads where possible

i do want more dps though, for example its basically just lava font (i took out bed of coals for some +hp regen skill, do people avoid direct damage skills to stop scatter? or could i get away with adding in inferno or something?

You stop the scatter by lowering your hp and keeping it low (under 20% is where it needs to be I think). This video should show you which groups you can pull together:

A/E and A/Me too slow kill rate. What it has going for it is the generic kill factor (not as specialized as other builds which are more specific and faster).

Good for you, I guess, that some farmer hacked you, and made a piss-poor farming build character that you can now test for yourself...

EDIT: A nice Venn diagram would illustrate this more clearly than I can describe it in text, but alas, I'm not into drawing one up for this discourse...
